Readings from Dr Who writers, a feminist science fiction writer and Manchester horror novelist.
informal panel discussion and questions, Science Fiction Quiz with fantastic prizes, comics and other merchandise and sci-fi/fantasy/horror books for sale, Cos Play – fancy dress – is actively encouraged (prize for best costume).
Meet the author and buy signed copies of books by Gwyneth Jones, Paul Magrs, Steve Lyons and Tom Fletcher. Music and refreshments.
Free entry.
Donations (books and money) welcome.

I’m really thrilled about being a part of this. As you can see, it’s free entry, it’s all for Oxfam, and it should be really good fun. It would be great to see as many people there as possible.

Well… I think it’s pretty good of them to do these things at all.

We’re hoping to do this again next year and if we can get a bigger space, then we’ll definitely opt for a [long] weekend event like a proper convention.
