Meet the author and buy signed copies of books by Gwyneth Jones, Paul Magrs, Steve Lyons and Tom Fletcher. Music and refreshments.
Free entry.
Donations (books and money) welcome.
Thursday, 8 July 2010, 6-8pm.
Oxfam Emporium,
8-10 Oldham Street
Manchester M1 1JQ

I’m really thrilled about being a part of this. As you can see, it’s free entry, it’s all for Oxfam, and it should be really good fun. It would be great to see as many people there as possible.

(This picture is taken from the Facebook page too – I didn’t draw it. Hope the organisers don’t mind).

Upcoming Events

Very quick update.

Tuesday 22nd June – Word Soup, a monthly live lit night in Preston, is celebrating its first birthday by launching an anthology featuring work by various Word Soup performers past. For the full line-up and further details, please go here.

I can confirm that the other performers are all really great, great, and there is absolutely no doubt that this will be a fantastic night. There are not many nights you can say that about, right? I think £3 is an excellent price for a few hours of guaranteed happiness.

Further updates to come.

Full Moon Month

Dark Fiction Review is currently running Full Moon Month – a series of guest blogs about all things lycanthropic. Some interesting stuff over there at the moment. I contributed a piece about The Book of Werewolves, by The Reverend Sabine-Baring Gould.

Want to see inside my fridge? Sure you do. Here you go. Maybe it means something? Who knows. If you can interpret this fridge, please do so in the comments thread over there.
